Anniversary #25

Welcome Everyone!

Today I would like to inspire you with a little something I made for an anniversary.

As you know, I rarely make a card or anything else without coloring up a character stamp.  However, in the instances when I'm making cards for an older male, cute and adorable characters tend to not be the way to go.

Here I have made this 25th anniversary card using the gorgeous Magnolia Stamps Vintage Box, 5th Edition.  It has a very vintage, romantic, shabby chic vibe and as you may have noticed, I am getting a lot of use out of this large doily heart die.  I believe I've used it three times already this year...  The little bird and small feather are also from this set.

The list of dies and stamps I've used on this is somewhat extensive and so I've decided to list them below, along with pictures of everything you get in this Vintage Box collection.

I've used Maja Design papers, Vintage Photo Distress Ink and silver embossing powder to accent this card since silver is customarily given on the 25th Anniversary.

Don't forget to join our current Monthly Challenge where this month's theme is to Use Your Favorite Papers somewhere on your project.  Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look.  I hope you have a most wonderful day!

I Love Paper

Welcome Everyone!

Today is the first day of the Magnolia-licious February Challenge and our theme for this month is Your Favorite Paper.

I wanted to make my card all about papercrafting with a little help from this little sweetie.  This is Paperish Tilda and she is from the 2019 Creating Collection by Magnolia of Sweden.  Isn't she adorable?!?!

I    love   Maja   paper!  I can't get enough of that dreamy, romantic, vintagy, shabby chic style and I feel that Maja papers and Magnolia stamps are a match made in heaven.  For this project I used papers from Maja’s Vintage SpringBasics collection.

Here is my first attempt using Foamiran and the Lady E Designs, Flowers 001 die set.  I made many of these little white roses (this is the smallest size) until I got one that came out decent.  LOL!  Practice makes perfect, as grandma used to say and so I will keep working at it.

Copic Markers - Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E02, E11, R01, R20  Hair: YR20, YR24, E35, E37  Shirt & Bow: T0, T2, BG0000, B000, BG01, BG02  Paper Stack: R30, E81, YG61

Distress Inks - Walnut Stain

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Valentine - Happy Day!

Welcome Everyone!

Super Duper Awesome News!!!  I am so excited to announce that I am now a Design Team Member for Magnolia-licious.  I am seriously over the moon about this, and so proud to have been chosen to be a part of this very talented team.  Excuse me while I do a couple more cartwheels...

Okay, that's done.  Now, on to my first inspirational make for you.

This sweet Magnolia stamp is Cupid Angel Tilda from the 2016 A Touch of Love collection.  I've colored her with Copic markers and glittered up her wings and lace with Stardust Stickles.  I have used White Mist Scribbles to add the pearly accents.

These white roses are my second attempt at using Foamiran (you will see my first attempt on tomorrow's card).  I used Lady E Design dies, Flower 001, to cut the flowers.  I am so used to making paper flowers that I was blown away at how much faster and easier the Foamiran is to use.  LOVE IT!

The designer papers I've used are by Maja Design and these are from the Vintage Spring Basics Collection and the Vintage Romance Collection.  The red, white and kraft cardstock are from my stash.

Last but not least, cuz you all know how much I love them; Dies.  Here I have used the gorgeous Lace Heart from DooHickey's Vintage Box #5 which is still available at Magnolia-licious and includes the Early Bird die.  The Rose Leaf is also still available and I've also used Tilda Tag and Old Swedish Lace by Magnolia.

Copic Markers - Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E02, E11, R01, R20  Hair: E18, E31, E34, E35, E37  Outfit & Wings: C1, C3, C5, BV20, BV23, BV29  Bow & Arrow: E21, E23, E25, E27, E29

Distress Inks: Walnut Stain

I am so appreciative to Shawn Mills the owner of Magnolia-licious, to his daughter Mariah for filling my order to perfection, to Kim Prince for guiding me through the processes, and to the entire design team for being so helpful and supportive.

Thank YOU so much for stopping by and taking a look today.  I hope you will come back tomorrow and see what I've cooked up for the new Magnolia-licious Challenge.  By the way, you still have a little time left to submit your  card or make to the current challenge with the theme of  Lace.

Comments are always welcome and so very appreciated.  Have a most wonderful day and better tomorrows.
