Craig's 54th

Hello my blogging friends and challenge DT members!  I hope you're having an excellent Tuesday so far.  Today I am posting the birthday card I have made for my husband Craig's 54th birthday which is on Friday.  He and I will be heading up to the rim (weather permitting) for some bass fishing that day since he's taking the day off from work.  He'll be fishing, I'll be reading a book...

Took this pic in lower light so the clouds would show up
I enjoyed making the scene for my CMC assignment (see previous post) so much that I wanted to make another one.  This time I have used my new Edwin stamp that I ordered specifically for my DH's b-day card.  I have also used, for the first time, my spruce tree stamp set that I received from Heartfelt Creations for taking one of their classes at the Mesa CKC this past April.  I drew the boat myself and realized, when it was finished, that I should have made an aluminum one to match my husbands. Oh well...

The Happy Birthday tag and inside sentiment were made with my computer and cut out using Spellbinders Nestablilities.  I was able to make the small border around the sentiment using a trick I learned from Norma Lee's blog.

I thought this saying was so cute!  I got it from one of my Nitwit Collections sets.  This is SO my husband's cheezy sense of humor!  LOL!

Thank you so very much for stopping by.  Please leave a comment at the bottom of this post and check out my other posts if you haven't yet.  Become a follower by hitting the "join this site" button and/or follow by email so that you can know when I've posted something new.  I have listed the products that I used below.  I hope to see you all again soon.  Have a great day and an even better tomorrow!
