Bee Happy!

Hello Everyone!  I'm so glad you could stop by!

Today I am posting a birthday card that I have put together for several blog challenges.

This oh-so-sweet stamp is Honeybee Tilda from the Summer Memories collection by Magnolia of Sweden.  I have colored her with Copic markers and placed her on a flower that I made using an egg punch.  After punching each egg petal, I embossed them with the Swiss Dots embossing folder by Cuttlebug, inked them and then stitched the edges.  The "Bee Happy" stamp is by Studio 112.

This is my first attempt at a Side Step card.  This photo shows the base of the card flat and the top photo shows it folded so that the card will stand as if on an easel.  I cut the base pieces using my Cricut with the Elegant Edges cartridge.  This didn't work out so great because it didn't cut symmetrically.  I had to fiddle with it a lot to get it to work.  The rest of the products I've used for this project are listed below.

Thank you all so very much for stopping by.  Please leave a comment at the bottom of this post and check out my other posts if you haven't yet.  Become a follower by hitting the "join this site" button and follow by email so that you can know when I've posted something new.  I hope to see you all again soon.  Have a great day and an even better tomorrow!

♥ Laura C.
