Happy 4th To You!

Hi Everyone and Happy 4th!  I pray you and yours are all happy, healthy, safe and sound.

This is Arizona where the forecast is always sunny and HOT.  Our weather can't seem to make up it's mind today though.  I had plans to grill brats and jump in the pool but it's been cloudy and raining off and on all morning.  Now that I have altered my plans, the sun has decided to come out...  SIGH!

Hamburger Tilda and Tilda's Barbecue are very new additions to my collection.  I think they're darling but, then, I think all of the Maggies are.  I used my Copics to color the images and tried my hand at grass.  Once I've practiced that some more I'll try coloring skys.  I added a little glitter to the fire with Stickles and embossed some Distress Powder to the edges of my mats to tie in with the rusty star.  To create the flag, I used the Stitched Wave punch by EK Success.  As soon as I saw this punch I thought of making a flag with it and purchased it on the spot.
Thank You so much for stopping by!  More of what I used to make this card is listed below.  Please leave a comment by clicking on the comments link at the bottom of this post.  I would love to hear from you.  Have a great day and an even better tomorrow!

♥  Laura C.

What a fabulous card! I am always inspired by RWB, but this is truly gorgeous. What did you use to make that flag and all that wonderful stitching.

Oh my! I completely missed adding that to the description, didn't I? So I just edited my post to include that I used an EK Success punch called Stitched Wave to make the flag. The tiny holes are already part of the punch. Thank you so much for your lovely comment and bringing that to my attention!
