Baby Bonnie

Good Day Everyone and Happy Wednesday To You!

For your inspiration, I have for you today my Design Team make for the Craft Heaven Shop and Inspiration Challenge Blog.  Our theme this week is Sunny Days and Smiles and what else can brighten your day and put a smile on your face like a brand new baby can?  I made this for the pending arrival of my 9th grandbaby who is due to arrive any day now.

This precious Magnolia stamp is called Delivery From Heaven and is from the 2013 Special Moments collection.  I've colored with Copic Markers and accented with Distress Inks.

If you know me, you know I love my dies and I love when I can stretch them to make something other than what they were meant for.  For the card base, I used a DooHickey die called Envelope Edge.  I love the wonky scalloped look of it and so I used it on both ends to make this wall hanging.  I've also used the cloud from the DooHickeys Cloud and Flag set.  Unfortunately, the camera doesn't pick up all of the Gesso I used on it for texture.

Here I have used the DooHickey Early Bird flower die from the Club Volume 7 collection.

And finally I wanted to point out the lovely heart lace and the seam binding ribbon that I died with Distress Ink.  The papers are Maja and Pion Design.

Thank you, dear friends, for stopping by and taking a look today.  More product information can be found below.  I hope you have a great week and I will see you again next Wednesday.  Oh, and don't forget about our current challenge over at the Craft Heaven Shop Inspiration Blog.  Our challenge this month is BINGO!  With a great prize to be won.  Have a Great Day!

Hugs & Kisses,
Laura C.

Handmade Flowers

Good Day Lovely Peeps!  I hope all is wonderful with you.

This week at the Craft Heaven Shop Inspirational Blog our theme is Handmade Flowers.  There is something new to see each day so stop by for some daily inspiration or, better yet, follow by email and have that inspiration delivered right to your inbox.

This lovely little lady is Kokeshi Tilda from the Sakura collection 2015.  I've colored with Copic Markers and Distress Inks.  I have made this criss-cross card with papers from PION design and Recollections.  The cardstock is by Bazzill.

The DooHickeys dies are Paris Night (lantern and cat), Sakura Flowers & Umbrella, Sakura Lanterns, Sakura Background and Tilda Tag,   I also used a Spellbinders oval.  The lacy borders are MS Eyelet Lace PATP.

For finishing touches I have used Gesso here and there, different shades of Frantage for the kitty and on the lanterns, Stickles on the flowers and butterflies and then bits of Vintage Seam Ribbon on the tags.

Some more details about my card can be found at the bottom of this post.  I would like to remind you that Craft Heaven has a challenge going on right now through the end of the month and it's BINGO!  Everyone who enters has a chance at a great prize.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful week and I will see you again next Wednesday.

Hugs & Kisses,
Laura C.

Things With Wings

Good Day Everyone!

One of these days I'm going to get caught up on everything and have my posts up on time.  Really!

Today I present to you, my latest Design Team creation for the Craft Heaven Shop Inspiration Blog.  This week our theme is Things With Wings.

This is Sweetness Angel Tilda from the Magnolia 2016 A Touch Of Love collection.  Isn't she just so cute!?!  I've colored her with Copic Markers and Distress Inks as usual.  Oh, and how could I forget the oh so sweet Little Summer Birds from Magnolia's 2013 Sea Breeze collection???

As you most likely already know, I LOVE dies and I've used quite a few on this one.   I've used Magnolia DooHickeys Cloud  from the Cloud& Flag set, the Leaf from the Leaf & Swirl set, the heart from the Insta Love Cam, Tilda Tag, the Frame, Zig Zag Lace and Early Bird Flower set from DooHickeys Club Volume 7 and the little Cloud is from Club Volume 4.  The twigs were made using the Memory Box Woodland Branch.

Today is April 1st and that means there is a brand new challenge at Craft Heaven and the theme this month is BINGO.  So head on over there and check out the gorgeous inspiration my teammates have created.  I would love to see you join in on the fun and a chance to win a great prize.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  The rest of the supplies I've used can be found below.  Have a wonderful day!

HB to my boss.

Good Day Everyone!

Today I am sharing a card I made for my boss' birthday and to make it, I used papers by MicheleRDesigns.

I used the Modern Boy paper pack and printed the stripes in 6x6 format and then printed the other design papers in 3x3 format.  I just love being able to control the pattern size of digital paper.

The dies I used to cut my banners are my beloved Magnolia DooHickeys.  The Happy Birthday stamp is by Print Works and the cardstock is Bazzill.

To finish it off I used Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink and Recollections Snow embossing powder.

Thanks so much for stopping in and taking a look.  I hope you have a great day!

Hugs & Kisses
Laura C.
