For My Jessica

Good Morning My Lovely Creative Friends!

I'm happy to be back to crafting and posting after just over six weeks.  Six weeks?!?  Oh My Gosh, it really has been that long!  May was a very busy month with mom coming to visit from WI, sister coming to visit from CO, daughter coming up for a visit from Tucson...  There was the CK convention, grand-baby #9 made her entrance into the world and then I had my second surgery of this year on June 3rd and all of the doctor appointments before that.  PHEW!

Sad to say though, that as excited as I was to be part of the team, I had to let go of my DT spot at Craft Heaven Shop.  Tina is such a wonderful person to deal with, a genuine sweetheart, but as enthusiastic as I am, I just could not keep up with the demand of making six cards a month.  I don't know how some of you ladies do it!?!  Several design teams at once?  OISH!  More power to you though!  And thank you Tina Macuk for letting me be a part of such a great  and talented group of ladies.

Anyway, on to business.  I made this card for my daughter Jessica and it is also my Guest Designer creation for Paradise of Magnolia.  This little sweetie is Resting Tilda from this year's Spring Fever collection.

Dies I used are from the DooHickeys Pop Up Box #1 and Insta Love Cam (heart balloon).  I also used the Sizzix Branch w/Leaves and Spellbinders Picot Edge Circles.

Papers are MicheleRDesigns' Autumn Shabby Blue, In The Garden and Summer Meadows collections.

Copic Markers - Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13, R01, R20  Hair: YR20, E34, E35, E37, E39  Blouse & Bow: RV00, RV10, R83, R85, R89  Pants: V20, V22, V25, RV10, RV91, RV93, RV95  Shoes: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49

Distress Inks: Mustard Seed, Forest Moss, Tumbled Glass, Vintage Photo

Not so much glare on the "Polaroid" in this pic.  I made this with a square die and then cut around it with a paper trimmer.

I also made this into a shaker frame.  I think this is the first one I've ever made.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  Have a wonderful day and I look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Challenges I am entering:

Hi Laura, your card is absolutely stunning! Just love this new Tilda. It's ages since I've seen a new collection, as sadly, they have become far too expensive for me to keep up with. But I'll enjoy browsing further through your blog to see what other Tilda's there are to find. A stunning creation. Love the embellishments too. hugs Sharon

Hi Laura,
Gorgeous scene you've created; so cute with the polaroid frame, and you chose just the perfect Tilda for it! Love the paper roses and the shabby hemp bows. Thanks for playing with LLC.
