Tilda's Town Challenge #113 Use A Sketch

Good Saturday Morning to You My Friends!  I hope you're having a great weekend so far.

Today kicks off another fun challenge at the Tilda's Town Challenge Blog in that we're asking you to use a SKETCH.  It can be your own, from a sketch challenge, from wherever.  The sketch that I used is down the page a bit.

Here I have Christmas Party Tilda, all ready to go with candies and a present.  Christmas?  Seriously??  Yes, it's getting to be that time of year when us crafters start thinking about Christmas.  I know some of you say, "UGH!, no way, it's just finally getting warm", while people like me say, "Bring it on"!

I have colored up sweet Tilda with Distress Inks: Tattered Rose, Barn Door, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Forest Moss, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany and Black Soot.  I cut the bow for Tilda's Tag by hand and made the sentiment on the computer.  All other products I used are listed at the bottom of this post.

Guest Designer for Stamp and Create with Magnolia

Happy Friday Dear Friends!  I hope you've had a lovely week and your weekend is off to a good start.

I am still here in Wisconsin enjoying time with my mom and some gorgeous weather, so I will make this post short and sweet.

 

Here is the card I have made as guest designer for Stamp and Create with Magnolia where the challenge this fortnight is SUMMER FUN.  You could win a free Magnolia stamp of your choice, just like I did.

 

This is the third card in a row that I am using Edwin In Miami.  He is the only Edwin stamp that I brought with me, but I do love this image.  Edwin has gone and stolen one of the banners and used it for his sand castle, the stinker.  LOL!  I have colored him up with Distress Inks and embellished the card with some of the few supplies I have with me, which are listed at the bottom of this post.

Tilda's Town Challenge #111 Celebrate!

Good Saturday To You My Crafty Peeps!  I'm So Glad You Could Stop By! 

I am away from home for a couple weeks, spending time with my mom in Wisconsin.  As I'm typing this, it is 50 degrees cooler here than it is where I live in Arizona.  There is a saying here about the weather though that goes, "wait 5 minutes, it'll change" and I have to say that it's pretty true.  This week it's been warm and muggy enough for the air conditioners to be on, cold enough to wear a sweatshirt and stormy enough to knock out the power for 7 hours.  I love it!

Today I have for you, my DT project for the Celebrate challenge at the Tilda's Town challenge blog.  You should come check it out.  My very talented teamies have created some gorgeous works.

At the party we have Tilda With Balloon, Edwin In Miami, Congratulation Tilda, Christmas Party Tilda and Birthday Tilda.  I colored them all with Distress Inks, which is not my forte but they travel well.  I found this fun Basic Grey DP at a fabulous local stamping/papercraft store here.  (I so need to move back)!

I used three Magnolia die sets; Tilda Tag, Cloud & Flag and Leaf & Swirl.  The size of these worked perfectly in my Zaz.  (Yes, it's a dinosaur but it's great for travel).  More of what I used is listed at the bottom of this post.
