Be My Valentine

Hello There!

I'm so glad you've stopped by to see my creation.  I am so happy that I am back to working part time again so that I can spend more time doing what I love.  Today i am sharing my DT project for MicheleRDesigns and i am featuring her papers from the beautiful Treasure My Heart collection.

I have stamped the sweet Gingerbread Tilda from 2010 Merry Little Christmas collection.  I love to use her for Valentines with her basket full of love.  I have used another Magnolia Christmas stamp from 2014 called Sparkle Hearts which I stamped several times around Tilda.

DooHickey's dies are Tilda's Tag and Sakura Background.  The red roses are made with Spellbinders, the heart is C.C.Designs, stitched rectangle is Lawn Fawn and the twigs and leaves are Sizzix.

These stamps are Stampendous and the Be My Valentine is Stampabilities.  All stamps were stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa.

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Hello Crafty Peeps!  Long time no see.  I cannot believe it been five and a half months since my last post.  The time has flown by but that's because I've been so busy at work (UPS) in what we call Peak Season and hiring so many people for the holiday deliveries.  I had also gotten a little burned out on card making but am now ready to go with all kinds of ideas whirling through my head that I must sketch out in my notebook soon before they disappear.  It's tough getting old...

I am excited to announce that I am a new member of the MicheleRDesigns Design Team and am thrilled to be working with her digital papers.  I sincerely hope that I do her beautiful papers justice with my card creations.  So without further ado, I give you my first card of the year.

I am using several things that I got for Christmas.  This sweet It's Cold Outside Tilda by Magnolia Stamps was a gift from my sister Kelly and I've colored her with Copic Markers.  The background is done with Distress Ink and spattered with Gloss Enamel.  I've used several DooHickeys dies from club # 7 and my dear hubby got me the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles along with everything else I had on my Joann's wish list.  I am a very lucky woman!  And now for the papers...

The Winter Frost collection by MicheleRDesigns was perfect for this project and, for me, the best part was that my Copic Markers and Distress Inks matched up perfectly with the colors of the papers. LOVE that!
