Sweet Friend Birthday

Hello Dear Readers!  I hope everything is good on your side of the screen.

Today is the start of a fun new challenge at Tilda's Town and the theme is USE YOUR STASH.  I can honestly say that the majority of the products I've used on this card have been hanging out in my craft room for at least a year.  Only some of the markers might be newer.

This is 60's Tilda hanging out on some Tin Boxes, enjoying her swirly sucker.  Both stamps are from the 2009 Magnolia A Little Yummy collection.  I've colored them up with my Copic Markers and used Distress Inks to accent everything else.

Here is a side view to show dimension.  This is my first try at making these swirly flowers and I like them so much that I added them to the other card I posted a little earlier today.

Happy Easter Chicky!

Hello Dear Readers!  I hope you're having a wonderful day so far and all is good on your side of the screen.  I'm going to make this as short and sweet as possible as my world is in it's usual state of chaos.

This week's MarkerPOP challenge is EASTER and the prize is two lovely 6 x 6 paper packs by Echo Park.  The challenge runs until Noon CST, Sunday, April 5th.  A big congrats to the winner of the C. C. Designs Grunge Envelopes Die prize from my first MarkerPOP post; Sue Gadbois.  

Here is the very sweet Tilda with Egg and Chicken from the 2013 Magnolia Little Easter collection.  As per usual, I have colored her up with Copic Markers and accented all of my die cuts with Distress Inks.  Said die cuts, as well as a complete list of all materials used can be found in the supplies section at the bottom of this post.

Here is a side view to show some depth.  I've tried out these spiral flowers and enjoyed making them so much, I've put them on both cards that I'm posting today.  They came out a much deeper pink in the picture than they are in person.  Hmm....

Special Occasion - Birthday

Happy Saturday Lovely Friends!  

Today is the start of a new challenge at the Tilda's Town Challenge Blog and our theme this week is Special Occasions.  I just had to do a birthday card since my little sister's birthday is in just a few days.

Isn't this design just too cute?!?  Here we have Tilda with Balloon from the 2011 You're So Special collection , Edwin in Miami from the Summer Memories 2012 collection, Congratulation Tilda, also from the 2011 You're So Special collection and Christmas Party Tilda from the 2009 So Jolly collection.  All are gathered to celebrate.  I've colored them all with Copic Markers and left the design simple so that when it's open, everything looks simple and festive.

The little gift box holds the candles to stow away until the birthday person opens the card and the cake can be fully decorated.

When Life Gives You Lemons

Hello My Crafty Friends!  WELCOME to my first MarkerPOP! I have for your inspiration, this adorable Lemon Tilda from the Magnolia 2014 Pink Lemonade Collection.  Isn't she just the cutest?  I've colored her up with my Copic Markers.  Then I went a little crazy with the die cutting. I accented pretty much everything with Distress Inks.  Don't you just LOVE that sentiment?
