Creative Fold or Tag

GUESS What Day It Is!?!  :P

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

This week's theme at the Craft Heaven Shop Inspiration Blog is A Creative Fold or Tag and so I made this creatively folded flower card.

I used this SUPER sweet Divine Tilda stamp from the 2014 Waiting For Christmas collection by Magnolia.  I added the Autumn Sunflowers that she is holding behind her back.  They are from the 2012 Turning Leaves collection.

TA - DA....!!!  Isn't that just too cute!?!  You could do all sorts of things to decorate the inside.  I'm just not sure what I might use this card for yet so I left the inside blank for now.

Dies - DooHickeys: Chicken Wire, Early Bird Vol. 7  Lawn Fawn: Stitched Circles  Sizzix: Nested Circles, Nested Flowers

MS Punch: 3 in 1 Butterfly  Lace: Lace Fleur

Thanks a bunch for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day and I will see you back here in just a few days with a new card design to kick off our May challenge.

Hugs & Kisses,
Laura C.

Name Your Technique

Happy Wednesday Crafty Peeps!

Today is my day to share a little something with you for the Craft Heaven Shop Inspiration Challenge Blog where our theme this week is Name Your Technique.

I don't know that there really is a fancy-shmancy name to use for coloring your die cuts with distress inks but that's what I've done here today.  I don't have to worry about having the perfect color paper for my die cuts when I can make them any color I want.

The ADORABLE Magnolia stamp is Pizza Tilda from the 2016 Little Italy collection.
Copic Markers - Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13, R01, R20  Hair: E34, E37, E44, E47  Apron, Shirt and Hat: C1, C3, C5, R56, R59  Jeans: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99  Shoes: E44, E47, E49  Pizza Dough: E50, E51, E53

All of the greens and the pizza in the lower right corner are made with DooHickeys dies from the same collection.
Distress Inks: Aged Mahogany, Barn Door, Cracked Pistachio, Crushed Olive, Festive Berries, Fossilized Amber, Frayed Burlap, Ground Espresso, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Pine Needles, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Wild Honey

The sunflower is made from two different die sets, the DooHickeys Club Vol. 6 collection and the Sizzix Susan's Garden Sunflower set.  The word Menu is another DH from 2013.

Don't forget that our BINGO! challenge runs through April 27th and there is a fantastic prize to be won.  Have a great week and I'll see you again next Wednesday.

Hugs & Kisses

Baby Bonnie

Good Day Everyone and Happy Wednesday To You!

For your inspiration, I have for you today my Design Team make for the Craft Heaven Shop and Inspiration Challenge Blog.  Our theme this week is Sunny Days and Smiles and what else can brighten your day and put a smile on your face like a brand new baby can?  I made this for the pending arrival of my 9th grandbaby who is due to arrive any day now.

This precious Magnolia stamp is called Delivery From Heaven and is from the 2013 Special Moments collection.  I've colored with Copic Markers and accented with Distress Inks.

If you know me, you know I love my dies and I love when I can stretch them to make something other than what they were meant for.  For the card base, I used a DooHickey die called Envelope Edge.  I love the wonky scalloped look of it and so I used it on both ends to make this wall hanging.  I've also used the cloud from the DooHickeys Cloud and Flag set.  Unfortunately, the camera doesn't pick up all of the Gesso I used on it for texture.

Here I have used the DooHickey Early Bird flower die from the Club Volume 7 collection.

And finally I wanted to point out the lovely heart lace and the seam binding ribbon that I died with Distress Ink.  The papers are Maja and Pion Design.

Thank you, dear friends, for stopping by and taking a look today.  More product information can be found below.  I hope you have a great week and I will see you again next Wednesday.  Oh, and don't forget about our current challenge over at the Craft Heaven Shop Inspiration Blog.  Our challenge this month is BINGO!  With a great prize to be won.  Have a Great Day!

Hugs & Kisses,
Laura C.
