Birthday in Topaz

It's November!!!  Where is the time going???  ACK!!!

There are only 52 days until Christmas and 20 days until Thanksgiving, or at my house, Thanksmas.  I don't know which family member came up with that name but for more than twelve years my mother has flown into town from Wisconsin and then the Thanksmas whirlwind begins.  It's 10 days of hardcore shopping, decorating, wrapping, meal planning, sight seeing and having the whole family at my house for Thanksgiving dinner.  The morning after is our first "Christmas" gift opening.  It's bigger and more festive then the actual Christmas morning because my mom has a tendency to go overboard and we try to do the same for her.  So my tree will hopefully go up without a hitch this weekend and if I'm really lucky, I will be able to talk my sweetie into helping me put the lights up on the house.  I would so love to be not-so-far-behind this year.  Even though I already am...

I made this birthday card for a few challenges and have someone special in mind to give it to.
I have used my Tilda with Balloon stamp and inked her up with Copic markers.  The layout is based on a sketch challenge and I used yellow, or topaz, for the November birthstone color.  All of the products I've used are listed at the bottom of this post.

I would love to stay and chat, but there is so much to do.  Thank you so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate it.  Have a good night and better tomorrows.

♥ Laura C.
